Hello LOA-folk!

Today is indeed a very exciting day for all of us here at Love One Another! Aside from Christmas being 21 days away, today also marks the highly anticipated return of one of our kindest friends: Edu. He happens to be one of the pioneering engineers here at LOA, and he has returned to take up the helm once again and provide us with a lot of humor and talking-to-himself moments. He has very supple hands as well, and we all know what supple hands are good for, right fellas? ;)

Although the worst of Ondoy has passed, what it left in its wake is a daunting task that we all must face as an aware and responsible community. After today's events, a number of personnel in the building where our recording studio operates have lost all their belongings when floodwater reached as high as the roofs of their dormitories situated in the Pasig area. Though safe physically because they were at work, they have nothing to go home to at the moment and are currently seeking refuge in the building without any other possessions.

Hey Gang!

 It's been a good two weeks since we finished the woodwork and arrangements in our new prod office, and we're really happy with the results! Secret Party 001 and After After Party/Edu's Despedida last week proved to be great ways to try out just how the office holds up when it comes to after-hours activities, and although we did have a few problems with some of the LAN games we tried, eventually it all worked out in the end. Joel, Joaqui and the rest stayed til the wee hours of the morning playing DOTA like it was a college summer!

It's been a week since we began work on the new production office, and we're really happy that it's almost done! We recently tried out the LAN connections we installed soon as we got the new desks from the warehouse. We're almost ready to start work here, and all we have to do is bring in the desktop PC's/DAW's. Can't wait to get some initiatives and bids done! After waiting for a couple of months, we've finally expanded our operation! We didn't transfer to another building (as was originally planned), instead we occupied one of the offices adjacent to the studio. The room itself isn't coupled to the control and live rooms, which is a good thing because it'll be isolated from the noise generated by bands practising and recording!
